BLACK FRIDAY X CULT BEAUTY HAUL

I have placed 3 orders with Cult Beauty over the November month🙂🙂 I take full advantage of sales during the Black Friday season as I know exactly what I want.

This year I've had my eye on Natasha Denona eyeshadow palettes Yucca and any of the newly launched neutral toned ones, as well as the Hy-Glam powder foundation and concealer.

I picked up shades R2 in concealer and N3 in powder as shade matched on Natasha Denona website. The powder is slightly too dark and N2 would've been a better match for me.

Concealer is very creamy and hydrating but lacks coverage for my undereye darkness and blues. The shade however is ideal 💗 Here are swatches of my current concealers:

The pink tone in Natasha Denona concealer works beautifully to brighten my fair skin and hide the blue undereyes. If the coverage was heavier this would be my favourite concealer.

The packaging is beautiful, I love the applicator and the top of the lid - super unique and clearly a very customised design which I value in the beauty world.

The HY-GLAM Powder Foundation surprised me with its very hydrating skin like finish despite quite good coverage. It can certainely start to look heavy and cakey layered over a fuller coverage foundation but it is exactly what I was looking for!! So much so that I ordered a lighter shade (hence 3 orders) after trying this one in N3 😄

I've been wanting a powder with coverage that wouldn't be drying for under my eyes and this hits exactly that spot. The new shade I ordered to try is Y1 so I will need to try it and let you know of the results! 😬🤍

Oh, and for the second order I went even more wild. I grabbed two ND palettes: YUCCA and I NEED A NUDE. Both are beautiful but the nude one stole my heart immediately 💕

The packaging of these palettes I enjoy from a design pov. However, when it comes to travel I almost never take any of my ND palettes as they are too big to fit into a cosmetics bag. If Natasha stopped including similar looking shades her palettes could easily go down in size and become a lot more travel friendly, just saying Natasha, think about it 💁🏼‍♀️🥹

The first look I created using the I NEED A NUDE palette was all cool toned and I loved it 😍

My only critique is that this palette is very monochromatic so it won't allow for more colourful or varied looks. But for everyday 'easy to grab and not have to think about it' type of palette this is pretty perfect.
